Gigsberg - Order Now!

Travis, a Scottish rock band from Glasgow, was formed in 1990 and includes members Fran Healy (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dougie Payne (bass guitar, backing vocals), Andy Dunlop (lead guitar, banjo, backing vocals), and Neil Primrose (drums, percussion). The band is named after Travis Henderson, Harry Dean Stanton's character in the 1984 film *Paris, Texas*.
Their debut album, *Good Feeling* (1997), entered the UK Albums Chart at number nine and later received a silver certification from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) in January 2000. Travis saw greater success with their second album, *The Man Who* (1999), which held the number one spot for nine weeks and remained in the top 100 for 134 weeks. In 2003, it was certified 9x platinum by the BPI. The band continued their success with *The Invisible Band* (2001), debuting at number one in the UK, staying there for four weeks, and achieving 4x platinum a year after its release. It also peaked at number thirty-nine in the US Billboard 200.
Subsequent albums include *12 Memories* (2003), *The Boy with No Name* (2007), *Ode to J. Smith* (2008), *Where You Stand* (2013), *Everything at Once* (2016), and *10 Songs* (2020). In 2004, Travis released *Singles*, a greatest hits album that remained in the top 100 for nineteen weeks. The band has won multiple awards, including two BRIT Awards for best band and the NME Artist of the Year in 2000. They were recognized at the 2016 Scottish Music Awards for their significant impact on music. Travis is credited with influencing bands like Coldplay, who achieved global success in the 2000s.
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough, Craft Recordings released *Live at Glastonbury '99* and expanded editions of *The Man Who* on June 21, 2019.
