Armando Christian Pérez, known by his stage name Pitbull and also as Mr. 305 and Mr. Worldwide, is an influential American rapper, singer, and actor born on January 15, 1981. Pitbull began his career in the early 2000s, focusing on reggaeton, Latin hip-hop, and crunk. He signed with TVT Records and released his debut album, *M.I.A.M.I.* (2004), executive-produced by Lil Jon. This album and his follow-ups, *El Mariel* (2006) and *The Boatlift* (2007), gained moderate success on the Billboard 200. Pitbull’s breakthrough came with his fourth album, *Pitbull Starring in Rebelution* (2009), featuring hits like “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” and “Hotel Room Service,” which reached No. 2 and No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100.
